Life is flux, and balance is a hard thing to keep. Massage is one way, and one of the kindest ways I think, to offer a small space of relaxation and a short sensual vacation for the body, from the daily ways we wear life and it wears us. I also believe that massage offers a friendly bridge between the brain and the body, to help ease anxiety and set moods in motion again, while easing strained muscles. I’m interested in the relationship between the brain and the body, an ancient and lively inquiry that has inspired ideas and books from Plato to Nietzche.
